Melting Muscle by Noël Masal

Blemished heart

melted
disquieted
stripped of detail
a form dripping slick
glistening with ailing vermillion
pality
of mental flu
infecting from the core
pumping
envious arsenic
as a
guilty guillotine

It’s just lying there!
Can’t you see?

the melting muscle
reformed
solidified
into an unrecognizable
knot

It’s pulling at both ends!
Can you help it?

It’s situated
now
in a rotten cavity
porous
and grey
from decay

a crater
carved with
sour candy
served
with
green plants
and
a chlorophyll
dressing
